After years of dreaming, it’s finally happening.

I left home on October 1st with plans to live out of my newly converted car camper and explore everything the northeast US had to offer during autumn.

First stop was the Catskills in eastern NY, about 3 hours from New York City. I hiked, camped, and yes, took pictures. These first couple days kind of still felt like a trial run of sorts. Learning how to most efficiently set up my bed, how to preserve my solar supply, how to do dishes using as little water as possible. I was still close enough to home to turn around if I needed to, but after my time here, there was no turning back
