10/1/20—Bent Run/Devil’s Elbow
I had to take a break from all the portrait editing and step out to capitalize on the beautiful fall foliage right now in PA. I first stopped at the newest mountain bike trail built into the Jakes Rocks trail system, Bent Run. Bent Run is a completely downhill trail that leads to the Bent Run waterfalls. I started at the bottom of the trail next to the waterfalls and wow, incredible. The colors were insane!! And as I walked up the trail I heard something, looked up the hillside, and saw a group of riders shredding down the trail. I hurried and stepped off the trail to let them go by and as they got closer to me I saw that THEY HAD A TRAIL DOG! Adorable. My dog could never lol. Then once they got to the bottom of the trail, the group turned around, and started the climb back uphill. I could never lol. And Cara can attest to this—that whenever we would ride a downhill trail, we would leave one of our cars at the bottom because we were NOT trying to mess with that 300+ ft climb. Anyways, cool photos and I am happy with them.
After that, I made a second stop at Devil’s Elbow and caught some beautiful colors in the sky as the sun was setting. Very peaceful and very much needed. Gotta love fall.
