12/17/20—Snowy Campfire

If you have never had a fire in the snow, I highly recommend it. It offers a different level of peace and comfort. I don’t know man, I can’t explain it. Maybe it has to do with relying on the fire, otherwise you um freeze your nuts off.

Anyways, had to go selfie mode once again as I was riding solo on this adventure. I will say that it is pretty hard to capture a set of images that tell a story in these instances. It’s a lot of setting up the camera in a subpar composition and then running in front of it to add a subject to make the shot more interesting. There is usually no context, and I’m just not a big fan. Luckily, things were clicking this day, and I managed to get a great variety of photos that were cohesive and all visually added up to create some type of story.
