9/26/20—Dannielle and Dale Engagement

Got the opportunity to shoot engagement photos for one of my good childhood friends’ mom. The fall colors are really in full swing here in northwestern PA and they definitely shined in these photos. This was a great shoot out at Rimrock. Everything was going great, until…

We walked back to the parking lot and saw a fire out in the middle of the woods. We went over to it. No one around, but somebody definitely built it, lit it, and left. It was a huge bonfire, and it just kept getting bigger and wider. Long story short, we saved the Allegheny National Forest. You’re welcome. And to the person that started that fire, I hope you’re having a bad day.

However, because of that fiasco, we were a bit late to our second location at Kinzua Beach. I think it worked out in our favor though. We got to shoot during blue hour, or dusk, which gave the photos a certain look that couldn’t be attained with the sun out.
