9/10/20—Last Adventure with Cara

Oh man. I don’t even know what to say.

These last few months flew by, and unfortunately the final adventure has come for Cara and I…for now at least. We have made more memories than most people make in their entire lifetime. I’m not sad that she’s leaving because I know she’s going to do incredible things, but I would be lying if I said I wasn’t tearing up right now thinking about how I have no clue when I am going to see her again. Only time will tell, I suppose.

Cara, I hope you get the chance to read this at some point before you head to basic training. I just wanna say thank you for being my best friend for all these years. I feel so lucky to have grown up alongside you and Carter. Things will certainly not be the same around here without you. Kick butt in there. I know you will. You’ll be heading to Alaska before you know it haha. Thank you for all the laughs, campfire conversations, ice cream trips, games of keep up in the pool, and for being the subject in basically half of my photos. I’m already looking forward to our reunion, my friend. May it be as epic as all our adventures in this small town. See you soon.
